It's a new year and oh man what promise it shows. Not only have I started my #commitmenttofitment2k19, we also have a commitment for plenty of CONQUEST. Our goal is to get four seasons in this season and honestly we're kicking it off in style with one of the best starting casts that we've ever had in my opinion! We have a ton of great veteran ORGers here to make their mark on the series, some who have played once or twice wanting to take on the challenge and a ton that are competing in a Skype ORG for the very first time! It's going to be a good one and I hope you're all as excited as we are for it! Before we get to the cast reveal, I want to reveal our first twist of the season. It is a throwback to a dark season of CONQUEST. The season may not have lived up to its potential, but in my opinion the twist of the season created an interesting dynamic and has more to offer. So with that we're bringing back... What is Day & Night you might ask? What you didn't follow C7 All-Stars? Well I guess I can briefly explain. This season each round will be designated as a DAY round or a NIGHT round. DAY rounds are exactly what you're used to with the series. A standard round where everything goes as planned. NIGHT rounds are where things will be different. You will all be kept in the dark on one of the most important aspects of the game -- IMMUNITY. During the tribe stage, in a NIGHT round, each tribe will compete in the Immunity Challenge per usual, however, results will not be revealed. All tribes will go to Tribal Council. Once it is time to reveal the votes the first vote will either read as IMMUNITY if your tribe won the challenge or it will read a name and someone will be voted out. If a tribe won Immunity all votes that were cast will remain a secret. This twist will continue into the merge, however it changes. During a Night round, instead of standard Immunity, players will compete for a Shadow Immunity Idol. The winner will be notified privately and will have the ability to play their Immunity on themself or another player after the votes are cast. How will this impact a cast of new players? Will they begin with a Day or Night round? You'll have to wait and find out! ____________________________________________________
With that, let's kick off the VL with our first reveal. An ORG vet bringing her experience to CONQUEST.- EMILY -
Probably our most experienced and successful ORG veteran we have playing this season, I'm very excited to get the opportunity to host Emily. She is a fierce smart competitor and I look forward to what she'll bring to the season. I always love hosting more experienced players and putting them in situations that they probably haven't experienced in ORGs and that's just what I have planned with Emily's opening tribe. She definitely will have a lot of interesting personalities to maneuver and I look forward to seeing how she'll handle it. I hope she really takes charge and a takes a leadership role this season. I think Emily will do really well and I look forward to seeing her play.

Emily is someone who has been around the ORG Scene and I'm not stunned to see her finally joining the conquest world. I think she's going to do really well integrating into the game and is a legit threat to win the game come the end.

Gonna give you guys one more reveal tonight, because I'm just that nice of a guy! Our first Skype ORG newbie...
- ALEX -
In CONQUEST lore, throwing it back to C5 Katie coined the term #dudebro, and I would certainly use that to describe Alex. I think Alex has real potential in this game. He's played ORGs on Facebook and Discord and although this will be his first go around with a Skype game, he gives off the vibe that any vet would. He seems confident and ready to take on this challenge and I won't be surprised if he's one to watch very early on with his tribe. He's got the charm and he's got the competitive mindset. I'd say he's probably the closest we've gotten to a player similar to the legend Chris Thomas and we all know how great he was. I could see Alex potentially being a dark horse to win it all!

We put it to a vote today and you guys couldn't decide between which of the two reveals you wanted, so we're giving you both! One at a time though, we have got to build suspense. Our first is the one I labeled "JENN FROM WINNER VIBES"...
- IZZY -
Coming to us from the world of Survivor Neopets, it's Izzy! Honestly having played Izzy, my first impression was that this chick is #cracked. Survivor Neopets is predominantly over text versus Skype calls, and when playing with her I though Izzy was A LOT in the best most #cracked kind of way. When we interviewed her though, I was insanely impressed. Izzy is one of the most articulate people we've ever interviewed, and when we were talking to her I got the same potential winner vibes from when we met Jenn from the first time in C9. Izzy has found much success in the games she's played, but I honestly think what she has been missing is that 1 on 1 visual connection that Skype games facilitate. Izzy is one to watch and I wouldn't be surprised if she goes all the way this season. She is going to be a fan favourite.

Time for our next reveal, the "CONQUEST LEGEND". Our literal example of failure to launch in this series is someone who was talked about more than some of the players would actually played the game last season. He's back...
- GRIFFIN -
The one, the only, the icon -- Griffin is back! This may come as a surprise to some of you, thinking his failure to wake up for the start of the game, forcing us to find a last minute replacement and changing the course of the season like nobody could have expected. Why the hell would you bring Griffin back after all that? Well it's because we like the guy. Because he's super cool and we think he'll add a cool element to the game. Look, we don't have a night one launch event this season (or ever again for the real), so if he falls asleep again night one, it's not the end of the world. We always take risks on newbies and we think Griffin is worth the risk. He's been super active pre-season and very apologetic for the way things went down last time. I think we all probably have low expectations and are all going to be really pleasantly surprised. If he's not already a fan favourite for the hilariousness of him being back this season, I think he'll quickly become one in the game just because of how cool he is.

Time for our first reveal of the night. Kicking it off with an ORG veteran that I'm sure you will all be familiar with...
- SHON -
I had the pleasure of playing with Shon in XTC All-Stars and the even bigger pleasure of voting for him to win that game. Unfortunately that was followed by the displeasure of watching him lose by a single vote, but nevertheless Shon is a fantastic player and personality and I'm so looking forward to watching him play. Coming off of losing by one vote in the last game he played, Shon coming into the game with a fire under his ass to clinch the win this time around. Shon again is a veteran player similar to Emily that I'm excited to see interact with this new crop of players.

Emily: So excited to see what Emily brings to the table. While I haven't played any org games with her in any games, I know that she can dominate these games and she's a total sweetheart through the few facebook interactions that we've had. Hardcore rooting for her this season.
Alex: Def got the #dudebro vibes as you stated from this guy. Can't wait to see what he brings to the table as a pretty new face.
Izzy: Not sure why, seems very familiar. Can tell that she's going to be super social and very likeable. Would love to see a Griffin/Izzy team up for their love of Video games.
Griffin: So excited for him to return after my shit performance. Anyways, love his job and life experiences. Hope he'll make things happen this season.
Shon: I'm excited for Shon to play. He seems to be the entertainment of the cast so far and I've heard nothing but good things from people who have played with him. I think he could be taken out early due to his org experience and name.

Time for our last reveal of the evening. We gave you guys a vet, so now how about another newbie to Skype ORGs.
- CAMERON -
He describes himself as complex and enigmatic. I just describe him as fantastic and a must have for this cast after his interview. I had no idea who this guy was going into the interview, he had a vague submission and didn't share his main social media, so I really didn't know what I was getting into. But damn did he impress! Personality for days, I think Cameron has the potential to be a huge character this season. But you know me, I always love to create chaos triobe divisions. Cameron may be a big personality but will his openness clash with other big personalities, or will he mesh and become a critical member to a tribe. I'm excited to see his game play out, I hope we get to see him for a while because the potential with Cameron is huge!

Emily- Emily is one of those players who has a BIG reputation around the community for winning/making it deep in games. Even if you don’t KNOW Emily, you know Emily. however, unlike some other *Taylor Swift voice* big reputation players in the community, Emily is typically able to shed that big reputation and gain the trust of others in spite of how strategically capable she obviously is and I think that’s a testament to game. I’d be shocked if she didn’t make merge and I’d even say she’s a lock for like top 7 barring any weird happenings.
Alex- Conquest has seen a lot of success for the bro archetype in the past and I feel like we’re going to see a similar level of success from Alex. players like Chris T. and Steve have been underestimated in the past based on how laid back they come across so if Alex can come in and keep a cool head I think some bigger name players are going to assume they can use him to their advantage. with his ORG experience hopefully Alex can bide his time until it’s time to SNAP and make a move.
Izzy- I was recently on prod with Izzy for Neopets as well as being prod for her season and I think she’s... cracked?? I think that Izzy is really smart but that might be her biggest strength and her biggest weakness in this game. it seems like her mind works a mile a minute to the point where she’ll think of a seemingly perfect strategic move before actually working out the pros and cons of the move and that’s scary. all love to Izzy but I’m calling a premerge boot for her.
Griffin- he fuckin RULES!! I watched his intro video and I feel like I’d find him accidentally hilarious. typically with newer players, the big fear is that they’re not gonna be active and that’s gonna be their downfall. I think with Griffin it’s a little different because he’s committed to playing two different times now and has been active preseason, but I think the biggest issue with Griffin is that he might be a slow burn. he doesn’t seem like the kind of person who starts playing and making deep connections super quick and I fear that he could fall behind and never be able to come back from it. fingers crossed that he lucks our and ends up on a winning tribe early and can solidify those connections for the swap and the future.
Shon- he is a *Hamza voice* GOOD TALKER!!!! after playing with Shon in XTC I learned that Shon is really good at these games - almost infuriatingly so. Shon is another player who I think will have no difficulty making it to the merge but Shon is also incapable of disguising his threat level. at least from my experience there was a PRESENCE about him that made him the biggest merge target which led to his undoing mid-merge. he obviously made the end of All-Stars and nearly won so he had to have changed something about his game, so it’ll be interesting to see how he fares with his new strategy in a non-all star season.
Cameron- I think that Cameron has a lot of potential but it’s gonna come down to how he utilizes his personality. one MAJOR advantage ORG veterans have over ORG newbies is the understanding of how to maneuver a night one call and make an impression without MAKING AN IMPRESSION if that makes sense. if Cameron can avoid being overbearing night one and can charm people I think we could see him being a major force in this game. if he can’t contain himself and dominates the conversation, he might struggle to bounce back from that.

Emily- She has the same name as my girlfriend so definitely rooting for her. I think she will definitely make merge in this game. I've never had a conversation with her but based off first impressions she seems super likable and seems very popular in the org community. I really hope she makes it super far and doesn't turn out like elise from conquest 10. She kinda gives me those vibes but as long as she is active I think all will be fine!
Alex- Never even heard of this dude! But he seems super chill! I feel like he's one of those players that will put himself in a great position early, or he will struggle and be a little clueless. I think this dude has the potential to be as good as steve carder from conquest 10 and 11. Or he can do the opposite and be a prejuror. I feel like the first three nights will be crucial for him in order to put himself in a position to get him through this game.
Izzy- Definitely someone I am rooting for! I don't think she will do well honestly because people will catch on to how likable she is and will label her as a threat. I want her to make it all the way to the end but I just don't see it happening. Sorry for all the comparisons but she definitely reminds me of willow from my season conquest 10. Nobody will probably have anything against her, but when it comes down to the tribal council and time to vote she will be an easy option in my opinion. But If I was playing she's definitely someone I would want to align myself with.
Griffin- Out of all the players revealed so far, he is the one player I am most intrigued to watch play. I have absolutely no clue how this guy will do. I think he definitely has potential! I think if he lays low and makes big moves occasionally throughout the game he definitely has a shot to succeed!
Shon- Out of the players revealed so far I think he has the best shot to win. I used to play mini skype games with shon way back in the day and he is a Scary ASS player!!!! He has lots of experience with games and knows how to work his way out and into any situation! Keep an eye out for Shon Bailey because this dude will give his all into this game and won't quit without a fight.
Cameron- Another player I have never even seen before. I think what will be his biggest asset or biggest downfall is his personality and how he approaches people. Cameron seems like one of those guys you either love him or you hate him. If he makes a good first impression I could see him going all the way to the end. However if he rubs people the wrong way early on he could even possibly be a first boot. I am rooting for Cameron and I hope he gets put in a good position early on. I think Cameron could be a lot of fun to watch and definitely make a mark on conquest history!
