- BRIAN -
I think I can speak for all of production when I say we did not have high expectations going into this interview, and OH MAN were we happy to be wrong. Brian was absolutely hysterical, and kept us engaged and entertained for way longer than we typically like to spend in an interview. While I had seen Brian's name before, it's much more prevalent in the Facebook community. I don't think he'll have a much of a reputation or relationship with almost anyone in this cast, and I am so excited to see what that means in terms of his gameplay. I can't say with confidence that we'll see Brian going deep in the game, but he's going to deliver us entertainment for as long as we get to keep him around.

Omg don't underestimate Brian De Leon. Coming from facebook games I know he can be really shady and a scary player! He's not afraid to stab his allies in the back and plays really hard from the few games I have played with him. I think he can be a wildcard to win this whole thing

Brian was an interview favourite of mine and an easy person to add to this cast. He's going to spice up the party on his tribe and I'm here for it! Can't wait to watch him play!

Charity has won a Brian FB game so that'll be an interesting connection ^-^. But i love him so much! he's so nice but when he plays isn't afraid to cut a bitch. Always going to be an interesting character no matter how short or long his stay

- LAUREN -
Meet Lauren! You’re probably never heard of her, because she is brand new to the ORG world! Lauren is a bit of a Tomboy who knows how to have a good time and is excited to be trying something new. As an athlete and a teacher, Lauren has some serious potential. She is incredibly competitive but also comes off as incredibly relaxed, so she might throw some people for a loop. Being brand new, she could have a steep learning curve, but it’s likely she will work hard to stay in the game and make some new friends. I don’t know how far she will go, but here is hoping she surprises all of us!

- JENN -
We mentioned we had a late drop and replacement, and here she is! Jenn graciously agreed to join us with very little notice, and she is reared and ready to play. Jenn is a really interesting one to me, because she comes off as very unassuming and here for the fun, but she clearly has what it takes as she recently a won Voyage. Then again, I know that she hasn't always been successful in games. She's pursued Conquest for a while now, so I have no doubt she's going to put her all into it - I'm just curious to see which way she falls this time around.

I only know two of these people, so I'll dish out my thoughts.
Izzy - She is one of the sweetest people I've ever met in the ORG community, and although I've never actually played with her, she's hosted me three times now and she was my "loved one" in Pro. I honestly don't know how she'll do, but I'm apprehensive. She's sociable, hilarious, and down-to-earth, but she tends to put too much stock in others. She takes things super personal in games and she gets hurt bad when she gets voted out, but that's all the more endearing. My hope is that she does well.
Brian - One of the least trustworthy people you can ever play with. Despite our alliance being loyal and pretty much guaranteed F6 in Pro, he blew up on Dom, threw him under the bus because he thought Dom was about to flip (he wasn't), and then blew up our 6-4 majority because he "didn't think I had the votes to stay" at Final 10, so he flipped, and I got booted 5-4-1. He ended up getting 8th. He also comes off pretty fake and it's hilarious to watch, but that's beside the point. I don't actually dislike him, I just think he lets his ego get the best of him.
Edit: Just saw the replacement:
Jenn - I just hope she tries in the challenges. She literally got voted out of Neopets after she scored a zero in the IC and barely talked to anyone.

Charity - THE QUEEN HAS RETURNED. Like Patrick said, she played Powerhouse 1 wayyyyy back in the day, and she is not to be underestimated. When she used to have time for all these games, she was always near the end game and I think she won a game a while back? Super big player!
Jenn - Glad Jenn got a spot in this season! She's a great character and a good player. Depending on who is on her tribe, I think she will either flop or fly. Prediction, early boot.

-STEPHANIE- Stephanie may be a Survivor Superfan, but she is also another player brand new to the ORG community! Stephanie surprised us all in her interview with her intelligence and ability to strategically discuss the game, despite having never played one. With a calm, sweet demeanor, I expect Stephanie to be underestimated early on. However, I think she might have the Survivor know-how to overcome any first time jitters and really make a mark on this season. She has been active pre-season with asking questions and is clearly eager to jump right in. Let’s see how well she can adapt!

So excited to see Stephanie! Thought we recruited an amazing player and then John and I found she applied for both games DRATS! She seems like another awesome female character to fill out this cast, and I really hope she does well and goes far! She is a sweetheart!

- ANDREW -
As if we didn't have enough great newbies this season, we're closing it out with another! Andrew may be new to ORGs, but he is no newbie to Survivor. Coming to us straight from Survivor Boston, Andrew is a BIG personality and an excellent speaker. Based on the intro clips he submitted he seems to have a prime case of DudeBro-itis, and I can't wait to watch him overplay this season. Here's to hoping that Casey Abel can get recruiting redemption, and that Andrew actually has a functioning phone.

I'm excited to watch this season, I'm just a huge fan of Nordic culture and Iceland overall is just a really cool location. I know it probably means nothing other than a nice looking graphic, but I quite like the vegvisir being on the logo. It's a symbol I've always been fascinated with, and from a storytelling perspective it's an amazing omen for a 'Day & Night'-based season and I'd love to see the idea of 'navigating your way through the darkness' becoming a potential theme for this season as people struggle with the chaos of Night rounds.
Honestly, I quite like Day & Night as a twist even after suffering through it in Kenya. The switch in rounds really elevates the level of gameplay and makes the experience way more enjoyable, and makes the buildup in Tribal Council an absolute rush of energy. I'm eager to view it this time around, and hopefully it helps create a great season.
The green tribe is the most enigmatic and difficult to predict to me, out of the three. Overall, it does seem like a fun group with some serious players, and I want to see quite a few members of this tribe get far enough to really be able to play. If I had to guess, I'd say Charity's going to rise to the top of the tribe, and I could see Stephanie struggle to gain footing and adjust to the gameplay. Also, if Griffin's first boot from this tribe, that's going to be a rather sad footnote in CONQUEST history. I hope this tribe pulls out the stops to really be an entertaining group and match the viewability of their competitors.
The purple tribe has potential to be super chaotic, with half of them being probably the biggest personalities in this season, and the rest coming ready to play. I can't wait to watch the first Night round with this bunch unfold, and see if anybody will self-destruct or cause mayhem. I see Doug and Emily entering in a good spot, and I know this isn't a particularly popular choice but my favorite in this group is for sure Mark, there's just something I like about him and I think he'll be a valuable addition to this season. It'll be a sad state of affairs if this tribe loses because losing anyone from here would suck, but regardless of their wins, we're definitely getting some high quality confessional content to reference for weeks to come.
The blue tribe is a good group full of likable and seemingly sociable players, but I don't think we'll see much going on here once the ball's rolling. I predict that an easy majority is going to form on this tribe, as a lot of them seem like they'd get along really well. I think if they went to Tribal Council the first round, I'd be shocked if Nick survived, but if he makes it any further I could definitely see him pulling some people to his side. I'm particularly excited to see Izzy here as well, she's the one cast member I've played with and I definitely think she could do some serious damage if given an inch. A lot of people here are players that I thought would easily make the merge in a normal season, but it seems like this is shaping up to be anything but normal and I hope we can see some great content from this bunch before a swap.

Now that everyone has been revelaed, I'm just going to talk about some of the cast going into the launch tonight Emily - Smart af. She has a few connections here and there going into this season as she's been an active viewer for both Jenn, Shon, Taylor, Kaylee, and Charity's XTC seasons (as well as playing All Stars with Shon) so it'll be interesting to see how that shakes out and how both everyone involved handles it. Alex - Seems fun and personable. Hoping he has some fun confessionals. I could see him being a challenge beast. One of my faves. Izzy - Don't know that much about her, but I played one of Frances' Neopet minis with her and she was cracked. Definitely think she'll be a hot mess this season, but I'm here for it. Shon - King! Has some strong strategic chops. I know he's nervous heading into this season, but I hope he sticks around and goes far. He isn't afraid to call someone out or defend himself and has very straight up game play. Cameron - He seems really fun, but almost like it might be too much for people? High hopes for him though. Kaylee - Ok so don't sue me, but I wasn't really on the hype train for her in XTC. She just seemed one dimensional and I knew she'd burn out early. I assume that'll be the case again this season, but at least she's fun. Kaylee is never going to be a winner contender, but she should provide fun songs on her guitar lol. She is more of a character bc she lacks self awareness. I'm curious to see if she's learned anything since she just played. Noah - Lmao this ORG flop. Very bad intro vid and just messy in games. Taylor - Monotoned queen! Viewed her in XTC and she has boring af confessionals, but seemed smart? I'm expecting big things from her here. Charity - Also viewed her in XTC and she impressed tf outta me with how intuitive and strategic she was. She's just insanely analytical and fun to view. Definitely expecting her to make an impact on the season. Jenn - OG Voyage Queen <3 Jenn is an extremely underrated player. Her first year in Skype orgs she made the finals of 3/3 games that she played and received 1st, 2nd (by one vote), and 3rd. However, sometimes Jenn's biggest obstacle is how honest and upfront she tends to be and how rigid she is in her delivery. Even though her intro video is HORRIBLE (rip) I have faith in her and hope that she can end this pre merge losing streak that she's been on lately. I know she wants to prove that she still has it in her badly and that her strong entrance into the community wasn't a fluke. Lauren - I really like her? I think she'll be overwhelmed at first and may have some problems adjusting to the ORG schedule, but I really want her to do well. Andrew - Seems like one of the newbies with the most promise. I feel like he is gonna kill the social aspect of this game.
